Biosketch

Mika Reschke, MD, is a board certified surgeon currently working as a Breast Surgical Oncologist for Bronson Breast Surgery in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her bachelor's degree in General Biology. She then graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine with her medical degree. She completed her residency in general surgery at Ohio State University. She also earned a master's degree from OSU in Medical Science and completed a post-doctoral research fellowship under Dr. Gail Besner at the Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital studying the effects of HB-EGF on radiation-induced enteritis and cerebral palsy. Following residency, she completed her Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Her clinical interests include treating benign and malignant breast disease. She enjoys community outreach programs that encourage breast cancer awareness.
