It was an evening that filled the W.E. Upjohn M.D. Campus with laughter, music, good food 鈥 and a little magic.
On Thursday, March 7, faculty, staff, and resident physicians from the medical school, and their significant others, gathered for the 2024 Employee Appreciation Event.
The first floor of the W.E. Upjohn M.D. Campus was filled during the event as attendees enjoyed hors d鈥檕euvres and desserts, as well as drinks, music, and dancing.
The evening was capped off by a performance from Kalamazoo magician Alan Kazam in the William D. Johnston and Ronda E. Stryker Auditorium. Kazam wowed the crowd with several cool tricks and drew lots of laughs as his performance, at points, included participation from audience members.
鈥淭his event is a highlight every year and it really gives us the opportunity to thank faculty, staff, and residents at the medical school for the hard work that they do each and every day on behalf of 汤头条app,鈥 said Karen Horneffer-Ginter, PhD, chief wellness officer and associate dean for Culture.
