Biosketch

Peggy Palsgaard, MD is a resident physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at the University of California Davis. She then moved to the Bay Area to work in a genetics lab, where she patented new technology which improved outcomes for transplant patients. She then returned to medical school at Carle Illinois College of Medicine, where she continued with various research and advocacy pursuits. Her current interests include external cephalic versions, LGBTQ+ health, and improving pelvic exams.
